NOTE:
This is a direct reproduction of the 2001 factory manual brake pedal WITHOUT the load sensor for "brake assist".
Brake Assist is not the same as the ABS system they operate independently. The brake assist only comes on when braking at speed. ABS is activated based on hard braking.
Eliminating the brake assist can be done by overriding the sensor by wiring a 213 ohm resistor into the load switch plug on the harness side. This should eliminate any ABS or BRAKE lights.
2002+ year cars had brake assist. If you want to keep that you would have to order a factory manual pedal but they are very expensive if you can find them. (discontinued). The part# for the factory 2002+ manual pedal is 47106-53010
