IMPORTANT NOTE:
This kit is for the MECHANICAL components only. Similar to when you buy a turbo kit, injectors, or other aftermarket part... This kit does not include any ECU tuning to make it work with a OEM ECU or DME.
You will be required to get your car tuned to eliminate the gear position sensor (we are working on a more plug-and-play solution for that) but for now it has to be coded out. The gear position sensor has never been available for a T56 or T56 Magnum, and that new product will be available mid-late summer 2025.
Installing this kit and expecting it to work like a stock BMW transmission on the stock computer is unrealistic. This is an aftermarket transmission that does not have the same sensors, or gear ratios. So, like any aftermarket part tuning will be require to make it function.
