Grannas Racing Ultimate 8.8 swap rear differential cover

The Ford 8.8 differential is a strong, affordable option to swap into many chassis. It is independent rear suspension, so it is a great swap to strengthen up the rear end in modern IRS street cars.

Advantages to the Ultimate 8.8 cover:

1. Four bolt pattern directly in flat face of rear cover to allow building a rear mount easy.
2. High fluid capacity for better gear lubrication, better cooling and less fluid volatility (no catch can required!)
3. Cover has breather port at 2 o'clock position for less "splash out"
4. Easy maintenance - back AND side fill ports allows oil changes while diff is in car
5. Precision CNC machining - always square and will always seal without leaks
6. Deep bowl for big gear clearance. 
7. Load bolts for main cap support when under heavy load.
8. 3.5" overall height of the cover itself (cover flange to rear mounting surface)

The cover also features a breather port, a rear fill port, a side fill port, and drain port. 

The cover is designed for these IRS 8.8 cases: 

1. 2003-2004 mustang cobra (aluminum)
2. 1993-1998 Lincoln MK8
3. 2002-2006.5 Ford Explorer (single front mount ear)
4. 2006.5-2010 Ford Explorer (dual front ear)
5. 1989-1997 Ford Thunderbird (cast iron)

I offer this with a "universal" bolt on mounting plate has four countersunk bolt holes CNC matched to the cover. This plate will give you a nice head start on getting your differential mounted in your rear subframe.
