This rebuild kit is for the SUV 8.8, commonly found in the 2007-2010 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer. This case can easily be distinguished from the Mustang Cobra diff by its much larger front mounting ears with integrated rubber bushings.
This is a full set up kit for the 8.8 IRS. It includes:
- Carrier bearings
- Pinion Bearings
- Pinion Nut
- Pinion Seal
- Crush Sleeve or Preload Shims
- Pinion Shims
- Loctite
- Marking Compound
- Adjustable Differential Shims
- Oil Slinger
- Ring Gear Bolts
