For a multiplate clutch, you should always use a billet steel alignment tool. The typical plastic tools have too much play and if slightly misaligned can actually cause damage to your clutch discs during the transmission install.
This billet alignment tool is made from cold roll steel, cut to exact tolerances making it the best tool out there for aligning your T56 based clutch.
Specs: 24 spline for use with CD009 / CD00A. The factory transmission found in the Nissan 350Z and Nissan 370Z
***NOTE: The pilot nipple may need trimmed down if you are using this on a 2JZ or other swap kit as most of those kits also require you to trim the input shaft on the transmission as well.
