AN EPIC CLASH OF THE TITANS - WE PREVAIL AND WIN MITM ELITE
WATCH THE VIDEO TO THE END, I'LL GIVE YOU A NEVER BEFORE SEEN REVEAL OF THE "ORANGE MAN BAD" STICK SHIFT SUPRA.
We had one goal for the MITM ELITE race in St. Louis.... To go rounds in Orange Man Bad!!! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. We won the event, ran two more 6 second passes, and were relatively consistent. At least the most consistent we have ever been. The air was hot, the track was hot, we knew what we would be up against going into it, but we wanted to test our new clutch changes as we felt we had a really good handle on it after the last event.
There were so many quality passes made by a bunch of the cars in the Elite H-Pattern class. A new LS record (John Coleman S10) who ran 7.2, and Tick's Grubb Worm was super consistent as always with the 7.1 and 7.2 passes. Devin and the Boostin Performance crew got a 7.2 pass in the red demon so a lot of quality stick shift racing going on. I have a feeling we are going to see some contention for the record soon. We will have to keep pushing deeper into the 6 second zone.
I know the car has a killer pass in it, and I think we will save that for World Cup Finals in November. If I can put together the perfect pass with a 1.10 sixty (like it has already been) it should be close to taking the overall IRS record which is what I really want now. That record is held by Mark Carlyle with 6.58 in his automatic C6 Vette. How cool would it be to take down that record with a stick shift car banging gears with a T56!!
See in you at FL2K in October and World Cup Finals - Import Vs Domestic in November!!!
