We all know the V160 is a bad ass transmission, but something sad is happening... there are no more parts. The synchro hubs are discontinued, the gears are discontinued. So what happens when you break your trans, or miss a shift and chew up a synchro? You're SCREWED!

While your V160 is still in good shape, it's time to put that "worth its weight in gold" unicorn transmission on the shelf and let it continue to gain value, and swap to a transmission with shorter shifts, tons of aftermarket support, and available as a bolt-in kit!!!

My setup features BRAND NEW transmissions and start at less than the price of a USED V160! There are three levels of my kit Level ONE, Level FOUR, and Level FIVE. If you step up to the level four or five, you get a 12 month warranty from Tick Performance, the premiere builder of T56 transmissions.

Level One - 700RWTQ - Starting at $3899

This kit Features a brand new factory Tremec T56 Magnum. Rated at 700 ft/lbs in totally stock form. Weighs in at 120lbs. My level one kits all come standard with a 2JZ specific cast aluminum bellhousing that makes this trans a bolt-on affair. No messing around here, bolt it up and go.

 

Level Four - 900RWTQ - Starting at $5099

This kit Features a brand new factory Tremec T56 Magnum. Rated at 900 ft/lbs. The brand new trans gets upgraded with 1st thru 4th gear carbon fiber blocker rings. Also receives upgraded bronze Fork Pads on all forks. Includes sprayer bung mod and case mods to fit Supra tunnel. Includes a limited 12 month warranty!!!

Level Five - 900+RWTQ - Starting at $5699

This kit Features a brand new factory Tremec T56 Magnum which is then upgraded to include REM polishing and Cryogenic treatment of gearset. 1st thru 4th gear carbon fiber blocker ring upgrade. Upgraded bronze Fork Pads on all forks. Includes sprayer bung mod and case mods to fit Supra tunnel. Includes a limited 12 month warranty!!!

There are two different gearing options with the T56 Magnum "close ratio" and "wide ratio", I did a little comparison page T56 Magnum vs V160. You can use this to determine which gearing option best suits your needs. If you have a 9" kit in your car you can simply swap to a higher gear like 4.10 or 4.28, for the current 6-Speed rear guys, i'd recommend changing to the Auto rear 3.79 ratio.
