Primering the chassis

In order to keep surface rust at bay, I wanted to get the car in primer before it goes to the chassis shop. I talked to a local friend Rob Rhodes, and he recommended a friend of his Andrew Long.

Andrew did a great job getting the car prepped and sprayed. He went above and beyond, spending a lot of extra time helping to blow all the sand out of the car before we sprayed it.

After getting the primer on, I spent some time tearing down a spare motor I had in the shop to use for mock up purposes. I used a set of stock mounts, and put the stock front subframe back in the car. I also put the stock doors on the car in preparation for the trip to the chassis shop.

Next stop, 25.3 chassis!
